The first formula of Pasta Dentífrica Couto was registered in the city of Porto on June 13, 1932, with the designation of Pasta Medicinal Couto, by Alberto Ferreira do Couto, pharmacy manager.
The same, with the help of a stomatologist, created this toothpaste with the aim of limiting the growing phenomenon of gum retraction. The quality of the product determined such a success that, even today, for the elderly, in Portugal, saying Pasta Couto is synonymous with toothpaste. The small production is still in the hands of the last heir of the Couto family.
Couto Dentífrica Paste is indicated in the daily hygiene of the mouth and teeth. Thanks to its properties, it helps to prevent cavities and gum disorders.
